A jailed prisoner named Robert Kosilek will undergo a sex change.
Usually prisoners don't have rights so it's baffling that he is being granted the request to have a sex change.
Robert was jailed for killing his wife in 1990 and he was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. He will never be a free man, or should I say woman. Ever since his sentencing, somehow he he has been able to take female hormones while being imprisoned around male prisoners.
Since inmates are guaranteed "adequate medical care", it is by the Federal Judge's judgement that he be granted a sexual reassignment surgery!
The Judge believes that this is the only adequate treatment for Robert's serious medical need.
